Why Denise Richards' Fans Are Torn Over Her Latest Swimsuit Snap

The actress perplexed many of her fans with her social media post.
Denise Richards wanted to show off her vacation on social media, posting a photo of herself lounging in the sun in a stylish swimsuit, but fans were quite split on their response to the update.
The Instagram post, captioned, "Pink babe 💖," shows Richards in a bright pink swimsuit that says the word "Babe" on it, with the photo seemingly edited in some way, as the swimsuit has an unnatural glow around it.
While it's unclear how much the photo is edited, fans were confused about why Richards felt the need to edit the picture at all.
The comments were filled with compliments, with fans writing things like "Damn. Still got it." and "Stunning 😍."

But others, while still complementary, questioned the editing.
One person wrote, "You are very naturally pretty but this is a badly photoshopped image :(."
"Beautiful but edited, why? you dont need to," said another, translated from French.
A similar comment read, "Photo shopped & filtered. You’re already a beautiful person, why not own it?"
Despite this, the comments were overall positive and encouraging, hyping up Richards.
The 52-year-old appears to be on vacation on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, tagging the Turtle Bay resort on the North Shore.

The resort's social media account even commented on her photo, "So glad you could join us in all your pink glory, Denise! 💗💞💖."
Richards also shared some footage from her trip to paradise when she went canoeing in the ocean. The video even features a surprise cameo from an adorable sea turtle.
She captioned the clip, "Canoeing in Hawaii with the Hina & Aka…wait till the end for an extra special mahalo🐢," setting it to the song "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" by Rupert Holmes.
Richards might be vacationing with family as well, as her daughter, Sami Sheen, recently shared photos wearing a pink bikini while in Honolulu, Hawaii, also on the island of Oahu.
