Ariana Grande has no regrets when it comes to her whirlwind romance with her new husband, Dalton Gomez.

According to People, the "Positions" singer is "happy" that she didn't wait long before heading down the aisle with the real estate agent. Originally, Grande had plans for a "big" wedding, but realized that with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, opting for a more intimate ceremony would fare better for her and her then fiancé.

"She realized that she would rather have a smaller, more intimate wedding now," said the source. "She's very happy they were able to pull it off quietly."

People first broke the news that the ultra-private couple had married in a small-scale ceremony last weekend at Grande and Gomez's home in Montecito, California. The pair first met in early 2020 and quickly began quarantining together throughout the pandemic. Eventually, they had a surprise engagement in December 2020.

"They got married," Grande's rep told the outlet. "It was tiny and intimate—less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."

Grande's family and close friends have long approved of the singer's romance with the real estate agent.

"Dalton is a great guy. He is very focused on work and low-key," a source previously told People of the couple's union. "He likes keeping his relationship with Ari private. They have been able to get to know each other in peace."
