I'm one of those people that firmly believes breakfast is the best meal of the day. I can and will eat it for all three meals (brinner FTW!) without any fear that I'm missing out on classic mid-day staples like wraps, salads, and turkey sandwiches. Bo-ring. And as much as bacon has my heart, a plain BLT just won't cut it, either. I've never really gotten the appeal of just bacon, lettuce (um, who invited a salad into my sandwich?), and a tomato making the bread soggy - but we've found a game-changing way to upgrade your BLT. And no, it doesn't involve avocado.
Bacon and eggs are MFEO, so if you want an super easy way to switch up your method of eating a fried egg, toast, and slice of bacon, an egg-in-a-hole BLT is the super obvious and crazy delish answer.
Just cut a hole in your bread using a biscuit cutter or a small glass, crack the egg into it, cook, then assemble your sandwich as per usual. And OK, fine, you can add some avocado if you want.
It's breakfast, it's lunch, it's brinner, it's whatever and wherever you need your bacon and eggs craving to go.
