Why not buy an entire village? (Photo: eBay)
If you’re a seasoned traveler, you may have a favorite hotel or even a favorite villa you return to time and again.
Some of us have a favorite village. What if you could buy that village?
Now you can. For 245,000 Euros ($333,000), the village of Borgata Calsazio in northwestern Italy is up for grabs on eBay. Frankly that’s cheaper than a studio apartment in New York City.
No a bad deal — 14 houses in a mountain village Photo: eBay)
According to the seller’s post, the village has 14 homes and is located around 50 km (31 miles) from Turin at the foot of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
The seller assures potential buyers that this is a strategic location to start a business or even open a restaurant.
There is, of course, one catch. Many of the homes need significant renovations. It’s only a matter of time before we see it on House Hunters International.
