Parts of the East Coast might have been experiencing warmer-than-normal temperatures for January, but it is still technically winter, which means puffer jackets, cozy sweaters, and boots are essential for anyone in a cold climate. Selena Gomez knows what’s up, and the singer and actor gave off all the cute and cozy vibes in a budget-friendly puffer coat we’re coveting for our own winter looks.
On January 14, Selena was spotted out and about in New York City wearing Everlane’s ReDown Sleeping Bag Puffer coat in "Bone," a flattering and chic snowy ivory shade. She rocked the coat with an all-gray ensemble of a matching oversized sweater and cropped pants and finished off her look with black and white sneakers, oversized white hoop earrings, and a burgundy lip.
The coat is obviously super cute (and probably super warm) but it’s also responsible and eco-friendly. As part of their ongoing commitment to sustainability and reuse, Everlane’s ReDown puffer shells are made with a fabric created from recycled plastic bottles (18 bottles, to be exact) and filled with 100% recycled down and feathers.
The ReDown Sleeping Bag Puffer is meant to keep you warm in chilly winter temps as low as 10 degrees Fahrenheit, so it’s definitely a wise winter investment if you live somewhere cold and snowy — there’s still a lot of winter left, after all! Plus, its long length means most of your body stays protected from harsh winds and freezing temperatures, making it a good choice if you walk to work or school, or spend time waiting for the bus or subway.
If white isn’t your jam, the Sleeping Bag Puffer also comes in black and ochre. Looking cute and staying cozy? We’re all about that life, and apparently Selena is too.
