Earlier this year, we got a firsthand tour of Binging with Babish creator Andrew Rea's three kitchens—and let's just say he doesn't mess around when it comes to kitchen tools and appliances. While Rea already has a Babish Cookware line available at several retailers, there's something unique about his latest launch—it's all nonstick.

The latest collection is currently available online at Walmart.com, but will be in stores on June 12. Rea worked with his manufacturer Gibson to design each product in the line including the 10-Piece Cookware Set, 13-Inch Cast Iron Everyday Pan, 12-Inch Aluminum Fry Pan, and 13-Inch Carbon Steel Wok.

"One of the biggest gaps in our offerings was nonstick—we didn't have any nonstick cookware," said Rea. "And especially given that it's generally much less expensive than tri-ply stainless steel, it's much more user-friendly, especially for newcomers and people who are just starting out in the kitchen or establishing their first kitchen, they need a set and they need it to be not terribly expensive."

For the Walmart collection, Rea took some of the products from the Babish Cookware line, but made tweaks. The Cast Iron Everyday Pan and wok became nonstick and the wok is slightly smaller with steeper sides, which he said makes it more maneuverable and easier for flipping things. When shooting the products, he also realized the handle on the wok screws off making it oven-safe and easy to store.

"I wanted to make sure that the nonstick was priced appropriately but also will be more durable than nonstick normally is," said Rea, who noted that the cold fusion process has made his new line of cookware more durable than other nonstick varieties he's used. Not only are the pieces oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, but they're also dishwasher safe and safe for any cooktop—including induction.

If you're not looking to invest in a complete set, Rea recommends the 12-Inch Aluminum Fry Pan and the Everyday Pan, which is great for anything from searing steaks and simmering to frying. "If you're not looking to drop that much money, then [with] those two pieces of cookware together, you're going to be able to cook 90 percent of what you might want."

Apart from his new line of cookware, Rea has a few more things in the works. Not only did he just head to Ecuador to pick cacao pods for his 10 million subscriber special (which he said was the most fun to shoot), but he's also releasing his Basics with Babish cookbook on October 17 and working on Bed and Babish, a "foodie retreat" in the Catskills.
