This is a PSA for all residents (or passersby) of the Mid-Atlantic.
If you plan to refuel before heading out this Thanksgiving, you're probably wondering where you can find the cheapest gas prices.
As previously reported, experts predicted that holiday travel would likely cost more this year than years past, but if you live near a Sheetz or happen to be traveling to (or through) Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, and North Carolina, you may be the exception to the rule.
In a press release shared directly with Parade, Sheetz announced that it would cut gasoline prices to under $2 per gallon–offering customers some of the lowest prices the United States has seen in over two years.
Starting today, the Mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain will drop the price of its Unleaded 88 gasoline to $1.99 per gallon. The offer is valid all week, through Nov. 28, per the release.
“Sheetz is a family-owned and operated company and we are always looking for ways to help the communities we serve,” said Travis Sheetz, president and CEO of the company. “We are excited to extend this offer to our customers as many of them start hitting the road for the Thanksgiving holiday.”
Sheetz is also offering a special promotion that can be utilized even after the regional gas deal expires.
Customers who sign up to become My Sheetz Rewardz members by downloading the app, using code FUELUP88, and purchasing Unleaded 88 fuel between now and November 28, will receive 500 points within 24 hours of the end of this promotion. These points can be redeemed for fuel discounts as well as food and drink items in any Sheetz store.
