Jade Carey locked in her individual ticket to the Tokyo Games for women's artistic gymnastics last year, but her spot became official a little over a week ago at the conclusion of the two-day Olympic Trials. She's back in the gym for last-minute prep before the Olympics, and she recently posted a video on the uneven bars seen in full above. It's not just any video, though; it's from her point of view GoPro style, and the result is as wild as you'd imagine.
Carey captioned the footage of her release moves, giants (full swings around the bar), and dismount, "dizzy yet??" We certainly are! The 21-year-old, who is coached by her father at Arizona Sunrays, is known for her performances on vault and floor, but she's increased her difficulty on bars (aka, she has added a string of more difficult skills to her routine) and is proving that she really can fly on this event. Chalk up, and get pumped for Tokyo!
