We Were Not Expecting Sutton Foster to Finally Pick Between Team Josh or Team Charles

Hold up, Younger fans: Sutton Foster has finally made her choice for Liza and it's probably going to really surprise you.

From the very beginning of the Darren Star-led drama in 2015, fans have been equally divided over Liza's love interests — the lovable tattoo artist and all-around wonderful human being Josh (Nico Tortorella) and Charles (Peter Hermann), the level-headed and quietly passionate heir of Empirical Press.

Now that we're getting down to the wire with the last few episodes of season 7 (which, tragically, is the final season of the comedy-drama), viewers are really desperate to know: Will Liza pick Josh or Charles in the end?

In the past, Sutton has approached the Team Josh and Team Charles question very diplomatically, often responding that she's Team Liza (she did so here, here and here and probably elsewhere too). But when playing Good Housekeeping's YouTube series game "Highly Debatable," where celebrities are asked some of the internet's most burning questions, she shockingly changed her answer to .... Team Josh! Yes, really!

Though Sutton didn't elaborate on her choice or reason for the switch, Debi Mazar, who plays Liza's BFF Maggie in Younger, agreed with Sutton and offered her own explanation as to why she'd pick Josh. To hear Debi's reasoning, you'll have to watch the full video above.

As a fellow Team Josh-er, this makes me extremely happy. At the same time though, it makes me wonder if Sutton changed her answer because she knows something we don't ... as in, Liza will end up with Josh by the end of season 7. Time will tell if Sutton's declaration is actually a season 7 spoiler, but I definitely don't have to tell fellow Younger fans out there that this reveal is certainly a huge development.
