Wendy’s Is Giving Away Free Chicken Nuggets for the Rest of the Year

The holiday season is finally upon us, which means the start of gift shopping, party planning, and—wait for it—up to 42 free chicken nuggets from Wendy’s. On November 8, the fast-food restaurant announced it’s giving out free chicken nuggets to customers every Wednesday in a special deal it’s calling “Wendy’s Wednesday.”

“America's favorite redhead is spreading the holiday spirit and helping fans beat the holiday slump with free Chicken Nuggets every hump day,” reads a Wendy’s press release. “Whether you like your nuggets classic or spicy, paired with one of our savory dipping sauces or perfectly plain, Wendy's Chicken Nuggets deliver with 100% white-meat chicken breaded to crispy perfection.”

How To Get In On the Deal

Snagging this limited-edition deal is super easy. To earn your six free classic or spicy nuggets, you just have to order anything through the Wendy’s mobile app or online, and you’ll be rewarded with hot, crispy nugs. You can also scan the offer code in a Wendy’s location by opening the app when you check out to get your six nuggets for free.

Customers can cash in on the $0 nugs every Wednesday until the end of 2023, so you have a few more chances to plan your entire week around it. (The first Wendy’s Wednesday was November 8, so there are currently seven weeks left.) You can even keep things super simple this Thanksgiving and add some nuggets to your dinner menu!

Another Wendy’s Offer for DoorDash Customers

If you’re not feeling chicken nuggets but still find yourself craving Wendy’s, there’s another great deal this holiday season—but it’s only available for those who order their food through DoorDash.

From November 16 to 22, you can get $5 off your order of $20 or more when you add a regular or diet Dr. Pepper drink to your DoorDash order. Previously, Wendy’s partnered with UberEats to give customers BOGO 10-piece nuggets when they ordered through the app (sadly, that nugget offer expired on November 12).

Get Frosty With a Limited-Run Wendy’s Treat

Another fun-and-tasty bonus to spark some holiday joy? There’s a new wintry dessert on the menu. As of November 14, Wendy’s also brought back the fan-favorite Peppermint Frosty to replace the fall-themed Pumpkin Spice Frosty that had been on the menu since September 12. The Peppermint Frosty first showed up on the Wendy’s menu last year—the restaurant’s first holiday-themed item—and apparently it’s been quite popular among customers. Bet it’ll go great with those chicken nuggets!
