Wells Adams Praises Peter Weber and His Former Contestants for “Doing the Lord’s Work”

From Cosmopolitan

  • Wells Adams thanked Peter Weber and his former Bachelor contestants for keeping Bachelor Nation occupied as The Bachelorette gets pushed back due to the pandemic.

  • Peter and Kelley Flanagan recently confirmed they’re dating, Hannah Ann Sluss keeps dragging Peter, and Madison Prewett just gave some juicy info about the finale.

It’s no secret that ABC’s Bachelor spin-off Listen to Your Heart isn’t a runaway hit, and with The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise being postponed indefinitely, it’s a miracle there’s any Bachelor Nation news to even keep up with these days. Thankfully, Peter Weber, his former contestants, and Clare Crawley have been out here making headlines nearly every day. Wells Adams has definitely noticed, and he just thanked them for their noble efforts.

While promoting his stint on Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition, Wells told Us Weekly:

“I think that Peter and Madison [Prewett] and Kelley [Flanagan] and Hannah Ann [Sluss]—they’re doing the Lord’s work here, guys, and Clare. They’re doing the Lord’s work, because we don’t have Bachelor stuff to come complain about right now or, like, be annoyed with. They’re off doing this stuff in quarantine and giving us stuff to talk about.”

Of course, Wells is referring to how Peter and Kelley just confirmed their romance after keeping fans guessing for weeks, Hannah Ann keeps dragging Peter and comparing his manhood to “cauliflower,” Madison dished on all the behind-the-scenes drama from the finale, and Clare seemingly (but, like, definitely) shaded Matt James for using his social media platform.

Everyone’s favorite BiP bartender also added that he’s hoping for a mini showdown between Clare and Matt once the season begins filming. Hopefully, the producers are listening because this suggested plotline would be mighty juicy. He thought, “I still want the Matt guy to go. So night one, there’s just drama already. It’s going to be like, ‘You have a Cameo account.’ It’s going to be the weirdest argument, but it’s going to be amazing.”

As exhausting as keeping up with all the fallout from Peter’s season and the impending Clare-Matt confrontation might be, as Wells said, “I love it.”
