Anyone else obsessed with Jenna thanks to Victoria? Very much same. She and Richard were on again/off again for about three years (from 2012 to 2015) and kept their relationship pretty private throughout. But! Richard did speak to Vulture about visiting Jenna on the set of Doctor Who, saying, “I mean, I’ve watched Doctor Who since I was a kid. I loved it, and I still love it. I can geek out about it, like when I go to set and see the TARDIS. I was selfie-ing the shit out of it and sending it to my dad! ‘Look, it’s me in the TARDIS!’ I thought it was the coolest thing ever.”
No clue why they broke up, but I, for one, retroactively ’ship.
Laura Whitmore
Richard and TV presenter Laura Whitmore started dating in spring 2016, at which point a source told The Sun, “Laura knows the Game of Thrones cast well, especially Kit [Harington], and got to know Richard through those connections. She has been telling friends she is excited by the new romance. It’s still early days, but it is already clear they really like each other. Richard immediately felt a connection and thinks this could go somewhere, there’s real chemistry between them. He has done much of the wooing but they’re both keen.”
Love a “keen” couple, but Laura and Richard reportedly split in August that year due to their busy schedules.

Rumors about Suki and Richard surfaced in December 2016—just a few months after his split with Laura—but it doesn’t look like they lasted. Like, honestly, there’s barely any evidence that they even formally dated, so moving on!

Richard and Ellie Bamber dated for about a year and a half from 2017 to 2019, but she ended things because they weren’t getting along. Honestly, it all sounds kinda dramatic, so buckle up:

It felt like their day-to-day lives were increasingly becoming worlds apart. They were pretty inseparable from the day they met—and their friends and family had all merged—so obviously everyone around them is gutted too. But both Ellie and Richard hope to remain friends.”
Welp. This was in 2019 and now we’re here in 2021, so TBD on if Richard’s been single this entire time or just super good at keeping his relationships low-key. Either way, wishing him all the good vibes.
