How to Watch ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 If You Don’t Have Cable

It’s been over a year since Yellowstone practically blew up half our favorite Montana family, leaving its prodigal son in a gunfight and its patriarch bleeding out on the roadside.
The wait for season 4 has been a long one, and now that the series is set to return November 7, many fans might find watching the show equally excruciating. That’s because the way to actually watch Yellowstone season 4—especially if you don’t have cable—is about as intuitive as a bunkhouse game of cowboy poker. Which is to say: it don’t make a lick of sense.
While the series will air live on Paramount Network, it will not be available on Paramount+, ViacomCBS’s streaming service. (However, Paramount+ will be your home for the Yellowstone prequel series Y: 1883, which premieres on December 19.)
The Paramount Network/Paramount+ confusion stems from previous distribution deals made between ViacomCBS and NBCUniversal’s Peacock, whose catalogue includes season 1-3. It’s not clear yet when Yellowstone season 4 will arrive on Peacock. So you probably won’t be able to watch it there, either—at least, until the entire season airs.
The bottom line: If you don’t have cable, you’re kind of up John Dutton’s creek without a paddle.

Watch Yellowstone season 4 on television
For cable subscribers with access to Paramount Network (which may not be included in every plan), Yellowstone season 4 was truly made for you: you can just turn on your television and watch.

If you’re able to watch on television, but you miss the date, you can login to Paramount Network (www.paramountnetwork.com) with your cable provider and watch there.
But pay attention: Paramount Network’s online site is not the same as Paramount+. As of now, it does not appear as though Yellowstone season 4 will be made available on Paramount+.
If you don’t have cable, you can buy each new episode on Amazon Prime Video after it airs.
How to watch previous seasons
For seasons 1-3, you can watch on Peacock, or buy the season through Amazon Prime Video and other services. Again, if you have Paramount Network through your cable subscriber, you can also stream select episodes there.
