Watch Whoopi Goldberg’s Strong Reaction to Joy Behar’s Dramatic New Look

The View just started airing a new season, and Joy Behar is already stepping out of her comfort zone.

On September 13, the longtime host shocked co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin when she took a seat at the table wearing a bright pink blazer suit.

Given that the daytime TV personality has always favored the color black throughout her tenure on the show, she surprised everyone with the unexpected outfit switch-up.

"I want to point out one more thing," Whoopi began in a clip posted to the show's YouTube page. "Pop, pop, fizz, fizz. Oh, what a relief it is."

Immediately recognizing Whoopi's reference to an old medicine jingle, Joy jokingly asked, "Are you looking at me?" The Sister Act actress replied back, "Yes I am. I feel better. My stomach just settled down." After Joy admitted she was wearing a color similar to Pepto Bismo, she got the audience excited when she got out of her chair to model the suit.

When The View fans noticed Joy branching out with her fashion choices, they immediately let her know how much they loved the pop of color.

"Black and pink was a hot combo. Joy looked beautiful ️❤️," one fan commented on YouTube. "Joy looks so fabulous in pink! 💕💕💕💕," another viewer exclaimed. "Joy always looks great but she sure is glowing," a different follower excitedly noted.

So, what caused her to suddenly change her staple outfits after years of being on TV? As the television personality explained later on in the video, one particular person on The View's team inspired the change.

"Fran Taylor, who does our wardrobe, she's sick of the black," she told her fellow hosts about the new look. "She can't take it anymore. I keep wearing black pants. So now she's been Pepto-Bismoling it up."

If this is the case, then it's only a matter of time before we see what other ensembles Joy will wear next.
