Viola Davis has workouts on the brain: She just dropped a throwback video on Instagram of herself completely crushing a slew of exercises like it’s nothing.

“#TBT: My hubby Julius and I working out with our awesome trainer @gabrielamclain 💛🏋🏿♀️🏋🏿♂️🔥🎵@MCLyte - Cold Rock A Party 🎥@shamarbenoitphotography,” the actress, 55, wrote in the caption. In the video, the Ma Rainey's Black Bottom star does bicep presses, arm curls, weighted bends, and kettle ball slams, alongside her husband, Julius Tennon. She’s clearly working hard, and her arms look insanely toned.

Fans were quick to cheer her on in the comments. "Yes ma’am!! ❤️❤️," one person wrote. "Inspired 👏🏾,," another said.

This is hardly the first time the How To Get Away With Murder alum shared a glimpse into her exercise routine. The Oscar winner dropped a series of pics of herself in workout clothes—accessorized with a total gun show—back in October.

Her trainer Gabriela Mclain shared those pics on Instagram at the time and made it pretty clear that Viola doesn’t hold back at the gym. "I’ve been training @violadavis over two years now, and let me tell you something, she brings all this to the game," she wrote in the caption. "She doesn’t complain, she always pushes to the limits, she’s extremely humble and disciplined. It’s always such a treat to train Viola. She is a perfect example of how hard work pays off. 💪🏽💪🏽." YES, Viola!

The Fences actress told USA Today in 2018 that she started doing weight training sessions three times a week while she was filming Widows. One move she did a ton? Weighted box steps. "We did that so many times, Lord, I lost count," she said.

Viola was diagnosed with prediabetes in 2018, which she told Everyday Health "shocked" her. "I always find myself exercising and eating right," she said. "I felt fantastic. But there you go. Blood doesn’t lie."

Now, she works out three times a week with her husband and trainer. She also follows a Paleo diet and is strict about what she eats, loading up on healthy foods like yam noodles and cauliflower pizza.

Clearly, it’s working for her!
