How to Watch and Stream the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards

It's time for the MTV Video Music Awards. Last year's socially distant show was filmed across several locations throughout New York City, but the 2021 VMAs makes its return to the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, where the show was hosted in 2013.

The action-packed night will begin at 6:30 PM/ET with the pre-show broadcast on MTV and live-streamed on MTV's Twitter account. The main show is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM/ET on MTV. The VMA's will also be streamed on the MTV app, online at vma.mtv.com, and other popular streamers, including Hulu Live, YouTube, Sling TV, and FuboTV.

Olivia Rodrigo, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Chloe Bailey, and Lil Nas will hit the stage during the show. Doja Cat will be showcasing her diverse talents serving as a performer and the show's host.

Justin Bieber leads this year's nominations with seven nods across various categories including, video of the year, artist of the year, and best pop. Megan Thee Stallion is a close second coming in with six nods. The Foo Fighters will be honored with the first-ever U.S. global icon awards.
