WATCH: When One of Her Third Graders Got a 100 on a Test, This Alabama Teacher Gave Him a Yard Sign

Willonda Caffie can tell when one of her third-grade students at Fairfax Elementary School in Valley, Alabama, needs an extra boost. So, when eight-year-old Christopher Abney, scored a 100% on a reading test last month, Mrs. Caffie sprung into action.

A few days after Christopher’s achievement, she showed up at his house with a surprise: a yard sign that read, “Mrs. Caffie is so proud of me!”

His mom Ashly Mccarley shared news of the sweet gesture on Facebook with two adorable photos (below) on her son and his teacher with the sign.

“Ya'll! This is amazing! My son's 3rd grade teacher just surprised him with a yard sign, for making a 100 on his reading test Friday!” she wrote alongside the now-viral post. “Mrs. Caffie, you made Christopher's day”

Reactions to Ashly’s post, which has received upwards of 18,000 likes and 8,000 shares since August 19, have been overwhelmingly positive. It seems like everyone agrees that we need more teachers like Mrs. Caffie

Congrats Christopher! Keep up the good work.
