Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner both have their own beauty brands, but they may want to consider bringing North West into the family's established beauty businesses too. Based on a new TikTok, North could also have a future in glamour.
Like literally everyone else, North is apparently a fan of Minions. In fact, she used her skills as an unofficial Minions expert to jump in on the trend and transform Kim into one of the yellow characters. In a TikTok posted on Sunday, July 31, to their joint account, Kim showed off her animated glam, which was courtesy of North West.™
The burgeoning makeup artist created a Mommy Minion with the help of numerous makeup products. The video begins with a range of eye shadow palettes, including a few from Morphe, laid out across a counter. Dipping her brush into various colors, North quickly goes to work, adding yellow coloring to what looked to be an essential coat of primer.
Her artistry continues with the addition of glasses, glitter, and blue eye shadow for the lips. North also adds a topcoat of glittery gloss to Kim's lips. The video zooms out, showing Kim with her short blonde bob and a very excellent Minions makeup routine.
Of course, as fans might know, this isn't the first time North has shown an interest in makeup. Previous TikToks have included a peek at her GRWM for a Rudolph-inspired look, the use of special effects makeup to create a look in which her lips were glued shut, and a joint video with Kim that featured fake blood and dramatic eye shadow.
In a previous interview with Allure, Kardashian revealed that she would even hire someone to teach her children makeup. “My kids get to see the most amazing makeup artists work on me every day,” she said. “So if they want tips and classes when they're older, I would absolutely do that.” She also shared that North is “really good” at special effects makeup and she had already hired a teacher to come and instruct her daughter in that area.
North is still just a kid, but she's definitely got a lock on her personal style. There's no telling what the future might hold for her, but she's talented in several areas and she isn't afraid to speak her mind, even when it means acting as Kim's personal fashion critic.
