Watch Nikola Mirotic make gross food for his disgusted Bulls teammates

Nikola Mirotic may have keyed the Chicago Bulls’ rise from the depths of the NBA standings, but don’t let the Montenegrin stretch forward’s play distract you from the fact that he is the world’s worst cook.

And we use the term “cook” loosely.

Here is Mirotic feeding teammates mayo and jelly sandwiches with an Oreo and orange juice dessert:

The reviews are in, and they are … not good:

Robin Lopez is not a fan of jelly and mayo sandwiches. (Twitter)

• Quincy Pondexter: “Not too many times I’m going to try this one in life.”
• Robin Lopez: “Oh, it tastes awful.”
• Denzel Valentine: “Eww.”
• Kris Dunn: “That’s gross.”
• Zach LaVine: “It’s not good, is it?”
• Cristiano Felicio: “This is terrible.”

Don’t tell Mirotic and fellow Bulls forward Paul Zipser, who both gave it a “big time” thumbs up:

Nikola Mirotic is a big fan of his own work. (Twitter)

Maybe Mirotic grew accustomed to drinking meals out of a straw after Bobby Portis fractured his face with a punch, but I’m not sure about Zipser’s excuse. All that sauerkraut might’ve gone to his brain.

Of course, this might all be a sinister plan by Bulls management to give the entire team horrible stomach pains, so they can stop winning games and return to tanking like they were supposed to. After all, the only combination worse than jelly and mayo or Oreos and orange juice is GarPax.

(That’s probably too harsh. Jelly and mayo sounds exceptionally revolting. GarPax is merely bad.)

Important update: Paul Pierce and Stephen Jackson just ate mayo and jelly sandwiches on ESPN:

Yup, still not good.
