After taking down her new video because editors photoshopped her body with a slimmer waist, Meghan Trainor has released a new version of “Me Too” that features her real body.
On Monday, Trainor blasted producers for her trimming her waist by half. The track itself, meanwhile, is an anthem about body confidence with lyrics like “I can’t help loving myself.”
She promptly took the video down and replaced it Tuesday with the original version.
In a message to fans on Snapchat, the singer blasted the edits.
“I’m so sick of it, and I’m over it, so I took it down until they fix it,” she said. “My waist is not that teeny, I had a bomb waist that night. I don’t know why they didn’t like my waist, but I didn’t approve that video, and it went out for the world, so I’m embarrassed. … The video is still one of my favorite videos I’ve ever done, I’m very proud of it. I’m just pissed off that they broke my ribs, you know.”
