In case you missed yesterday’s cuteness, Kaitlyn Bristowe and her boyfriend Jason Tartick are engaged after two years of dating! These two first connected thanks to Jason appearing on Kaitlyn’s Off the Vine podcast back in 2018—so the podcast’s set was obviously the perfect spot to pop the question. Jason went ahead and shared a video of Kaitlyn’s thrilled reaction on TikTok, and it’s best described as JOYFUL ALL-CAPS SCREAMING.

Watch below, but basically, what we have here is Jason giving Kaitlyn a ring while she’s literally in a state of 😱. What follows is a bunch of yelling, hugging, and Kaitlyn saying, “Oh my god, are you fucking kidding me with that thing” as she looks at what appears to be a truly massive diamond.

Kaitlyn opened up about the proposal to Entertainment Tonight, saying, “Jason’s like, ‘Kaitlyn, we’re not doing a podcast.’ And I’m like, ‘You forgot to hit record, didn’t you?’ He was like, ‘No, this is something else,’ and he got up and I saw him bring out a ring box from the drawer....I was trying to be present, but I was so overwhelmed and I was so embarrassed, because I was wearing a T-shirt that said, ‘Tequila for Breakfast.’ I was like, ‘This feels very on brand but also very inappropriate!’”

“It was everything I could have asked for,” she added. “The words that came out of his mouth were insanely beautiful. We’ve never locked eyes like that in our lives. We were holding hands, so intense, and I was listening to his every word but still blacked out.”
