Bodybuilder Jon Call (aka Jujimufu), his training partner Tom Boyden, Norwegian rock climber Magnus Midtbø, and ninja athlete Anton Fomenko, got together in Call's most recent YouTube video to practice weighted pull ups. In the video, Call and the guys decide to attempt to break the world record for weighted pull-up based on a scale according to each one's weight.

The current world record stands at 230.49 pounds of added weight, which was set by David Marchante in Madrid, Spain, in October 2016, according to Guinness World Records.

The guys get to it, strapping plates around their waist as they attempt their pull-ups, weighing themselves before each pull-up. They also decide to attempt them with a neutral grip, and must start with extended arms to get a full pull-up.

Call, who weighs 235 pounds, pulls his own PR of 135 pounds, for a total of 370 pounds.

Boyden, who weights 190 pounds, makes it up to 100 pounds, for a total of 290 pounds.

Midtbø, who weighs 155 pounds, PR's at 155 pounds (his actual body weight), for a total of 310 pounds.

And Fomenko, who weighs 166 pounds, also pulls his own body weight, for a total of 332 pounds.

And when it comes to breaking the world record? Well, they're not even close—and the guys are brutally aware of it. "That's why there was a question mark in the title," says Boyden, laughing.
