If you think you are a Jenga master, just wait until you see this guy. Tai Star Valianti of Arizona recently broke the world record for most Jenga blocks stacked on one vertical Jenga block. Yes, there is a record for that, and Valianti holds it with a whopping 485 stacked blocks.

Valianti’s record-shattering performance is enough to put any casual Jenga master to shame. The record-breaking tower took the Jenga pro two hours to complete, requiring a steady hand and some killer patience. Valianti stacked all 485 blocks in an inverted pyramid formation that seems to defy gravity. There’s clearly a meticulous method to his mad stacking, but you’ll be hard-pressed to figure out the secret.

In a mic-drop moment, Valianti drops the last block on the tower from a height of a few inches—and the damn thing doesn’t move one bit. That’s one sturdy structure—and some serious sorcery.

“The tower stood for almost nine minutes before I got my son to come in to knock it down,” Valianti says in a video documenting the challenge.

Valianti’s son tries to knock down the structure with a domino chain ending in the one vertical Jenga block, hoping to knock out the base. But even that doesn’t shake the tower. Instead, the son resorts to a bear hug, which does the trick in demolishing the record-breaking tower.

Valianti’s attempt is an official world record recognized by Guinness World Records, not just a clickbait title on YouTube. The previous Jenga-stacking record, set in 2019, was 353 blocks. Oh, and that previous record was also held by Valianti.

In the video, Valianti says prior to this attempt, his non-recorded personal best was 432 before that test tower collapsed. For his record-breaking moment, Valianti was forced to end at 485 for not because his structure fell, but because he used all the Jenga blocks he had casually hanging around his home.
