How to Watch 'Fast X'

There may be no greater summer blockbuster than the Fast and Furious franchise—boasting 10 films, a spinoff, and possibly two future action-packed thrill rides for a final trilogy. Once just films about street racing, Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his extended family are now trained super soldiers. They still drive cars, sure—but those cars are performing acts of heroism. They've performed million-dollar heists, blasted off into space, and even controlled super magnet technology. In Fast X, Toretto plans to drive his car straight down the Hoover Dam.
Fast X wouldn't be the penultimate Fast & Furious film without a big car stunt. It also wouldn't arrive without the news that it's probably nowhere near the final ride either. Originally teased as part of an epic two-part finale to the series, Fast X is now very likely Part One of an epic three-part finale. "Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter," Diesel told Variety. "After the studio saw this one, they said, Could you make Fast X, the finale, a trilogy?” When asked to clarify if there was going to be a twelfth Fast film, Diesel responded, "You’re gonna get me in trouble here." Hopefully, Diesel doesn't go into a road rage when he finds out that news of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's rumored return has leaked.
But The Rock and the rest of the Fast & Furious cast have returned for Fast X—promising to somehow top the insane action of 2021's F9: The Fast Saga. Fast X stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, newcomer Jason Momoa, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Sung Kang, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jason Statham, Helen Mirren, Brie Larson, Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron, Cardi B, Meadow Walker, and Rita Moreno as "Abuela Toretto." The film zooms into theaters—which is the only place you can see the film for the foreseeable future—on Friday May 19, 2023.
