Amid the fight scenes and the comedic moments, there are touching emotional scenes that explore important themes surrounding family, love, and regret.

The film's unexpected success has catapulted it into underdog status during the 2023 awards season. Everything Everywhere All at Once grabbed 11 Oscar nominations, including a coveted Best Picture slot. At the 95th Oscars, the film won 7 of its nominations, including Best Director, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, and Best Picture, the most covted award of the night. With his Oscar win, Ke Huy Quan is officially an actor everyone will be determined to work with. Post Everything Everywhere, he's set to star in Season 2 of Loki and the new series American Born Chinese, both of which will stream on Disney+.
