Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Snip Off A 'Cluster' Of Milia On A Man's Eyelid

From Women's Health

  • In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper removes milia on a man's eye and eyelid.

  • Milia are small superficial cysts that typically appear around the eyes or on the cheeks.

  • Dr. Pimple Popper used a small pair of scissors to snip off the milia.

When Dr. Pimple Popper takes on pimples or cysts, there's usually some popping that takes place (you know, it's part of her pseudonym, after all). But this time, Dr. Pimple Popper offered up something a little different-and it involved...scissors.

In her newest Instagram video, dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD tackles some stubborn milia on a man's forehead on his eyelids and around his eyes. "He can see clearly now, the #milia is gone," she captioned the post, adding the hashtag "#eyeopener."

Those milia, FYI, are actually small, superficial cysts (not to be confused with whiteheads, which are clogged pores). “Milia usually appear around the eyes or on the top portion of your cheek, whereas whiteheads are more common on the chin and forehead where more oil is produced,” Dr. Pimple Popper (a.k.a. Dr. Lee) previously told Women's Health.

To remove these milia, Dr. Pimple Popper actually used scissor to snip off the tiny cysts-that means they don't necessarily ooze, but they do bleed a bit (unclear on whether or not the removal hurts though!).

Apparently the patient has quite a few milia around his eyes-which is slightly different that how milia usually appear. "That looks like a milia too," Dr. Pimple Popper says as she snips a second one. "You have a cluster, that's what makes it unusual."

TBH, this is probably one of the least cringeworthy videos that Dr. Pimple Popper has posted lately, but it's no less satisfying (and maybe even fascinating for some!).
