WATCH: Dolly Parton Reveals the Actresses She’d Want to Play Her in a Movie

From Dollywood to Dumplin’, Dolly Parton has left innumerable marks on the pop culture landscape over the course of her five decades in the spotlight. And though there have been plenty of rumors, there’s one thing the country music legend has yet to give us: a biopic.

Per usual, Parton currently has a few Hollywood projects in the works, but as far as we know, none of them tell her story.

But that’s not to say that the 73-year-old hasn’t put some contemplated the inevitable movie about her life. In fact, in a recent interview with Elle magazine, the songstress revealed that she’s even given some thought to the actress she’d like to play her.

Parton told Elle that she's considered both Reese Witherspoon (one of our personal favorites!) and Scarlett Johansson as actresses who could portray her on the big screen, but added, “That depends on when I get it done."

Those are two very good candidates, Dolly, but can we suggest adding Kasey Musgraves to the mix?
