Watch This DIYer Fix a Broken Sink With Ramen Noodles

So your sink broke and you don't know how to fix it...good news! There's a secret fix and it's probably hiding in your pantry-if not your pantry, though, definitely a college dorm near you. What's the tool, you ask? A good ol' Ramen noodle packet.

No, this isn't a joke. In a recent video that went viral after being posted on the @arquitettando Instagram account, one very, er– innovative DIYer ingeniously (crazily? Confusingly? I don't know!) repaired a shattered ceramic sink using the uncooked noodle block. It's actually really satisfying to watch. See for yourself:

As you can see, the inventor inserts the Ramen block inside the hole in the sink, spreading it out to fill the entire broken area. Then, they add what looks like some water to break up the noodles a bit and finally they scrape and sand it down to the correct shape. Once it is shaped properly, the artist then sprays white paint over the area to complete the project. Honestly, it ends up looking...brand new-despite not being a permanent fix.

Perhaps the weirdest part of the video (other than the faucet randomly disappearing-likely so it doesn't get spray painted) is something viewers can't help but point out: The DIYer used the seasoning packet in the process.

Even America's favorite tweeter Chrissy Teigen couldn't unsee that part of the process, tweeting at her 11.2 million followers, "Why the seasoning!?)????!!&" And, not surprisingly, they had answers.

"For the flavor to sink in," @nonegoodleft joked and "Just in case you get stuck in the bathroom one day and you get hungry. It's called being PREPARED Chrissy," @doncheadlefan1 replied.

Something that's definitely surprising, though, is the fact that this is not the first time Ramen has been used to repair home items! I know, what the what? Someone else in Chrissy's replies shared this video of a someone fixing what looks like a table. That's for all the haters who made fun of your college Ramen stash. IT WAS USEFUL, OK?
