Chris Hemsworth shared a video on Instagram showing off a circuit workout.
His trainer, Luke Zocchi, gives he and his training partner some direction.
Hemsworth jokingly captioned that he and his mates were "wrestling some iron."
Marvel fans everywhere shared a collective sigh of relief a few months ago when it was revealed that Avengers: Endgame wouldn't, in fact, be Chris Hemsworth's swan song as Thor. The strapping Australian actor will return to the role in 2021's Thor: Love and Thunder. And as he's showing on Instagram, keeping up the physique of a Nordic god continues to be a top priority.
Hemsworth posted a dramatic—and well-edited—workout video, featuring himself, along with his trainer, Luke Zocchi, and Jorge Blanco, a fighting expert who is one of the featured coaches on Hemsworth's Centr wellness app. "Wrestling some iron with Jorge and Zoco while yelling loudly and playing dramatic music," the actor wrote in the post's caption.
The trio hit an intense circuit in the footage, working through a wide series of exercises that challenge the entire body, which is similar to other workouts we've seen from Zocchi. When even Thor himself is out of breath, you know it's rough going. "I went too hard too soon," Hemsworth says at the end of the video.

The circuit uses a range of implements, including kettlebells, barbells, slam balls, and dumbbells, along with what appears to be a healthy heaping of bodyweight movements. We spotted some of our favorite exercises, like kettlebell halos, rows, and crawls. We're particular fans of Hemsworth's barbell suitcase deadlift, which he sweats through twice in the session. That's great for building core strength along with your posterior chain, according to Men's Health fitness director Ebenezer Samuel, C.S.C.S.—but it's a tricky move to pull off.
"The barbell suitcase deadlift shouldn't be loaded up," says Samuel. "Focus on keeping hips and shoulders square; that's more important than putting up a ton of weight."
Hemsworth's video is part of his overall efforts to spread his style of fitness and wellness with Centr, which he discussed when he was on the cover of Men's Health earlier this year.
Hemsworth will be seen in theaters again this fall, as he's already filmed a short appearance in Kevin Smith's upcoming Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, and the Netflix film Dhaka. He's not slated for anything officially between those and Love and Thunder now, though, so it's important that he be ready to go when the MCU powers that be come calling.
