Washington receiver Aaron Fuller made two of the best catches of Week 1. And they both went for touchdowns.

Fuller’s first highlight-reel touchdown catch came late in the first quarter with his team already leading Eastern Washington 14-0. Jacob Eason, the Georgia transfer making his first career start at quarterback, tossed one up to Fuller on third-and-goal from the 7.

Eason’s throw was a little high, but Fuller was able to get into the air and haul in the back-shoulder throw in with one hand. Watch this:

The Eason-to-Fuller combination collaborated yet again early in the third. This time, Eason found Fuller from 18 yards out, throwing the ball only where his receiver could snag it. Fuller adjusted to the ball in mid-air and still was able to stay inbounds for another score.

That touchdown, Eason’s fourth of the afternoon, extended the Washington lead to 35-7. The Huskies went on to win 47-14.

Fuller finished with five catches for 73 yards and, of course, the two touchdowns. Eason completed 27-of-36 passes for 349 yards and four scores. That’s a duo we can look forward to watching all season long.
