Marvel and WandaVision fans across the internet are urging viewers to keep an on Agnes (Kathyrn Hahn), Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)'s quirky neighbor.

If you've watched the first three episodes of WandaVision on Disney+, you know that Agnes comes off as pretty nosy and yet fairly innocent. But according to one WandaVision fan on Twitter, there's evidence in the very first episode of the show suggesting Agnes isn't your average friendly neighbor.

As user @steven_becerel cleverly points out, Agnes tells Wanda in the premiere that her wedding anniversary is on June 2nd. "The only way Ralph would remember our anniversary is if there was a beer named June 2nd," Agnes joked.

This may seem like a minuscule detail at first, but it's actually a super important Easter egg. It just so happens that June 2, 1692 is the date the courts first convened for the Salem Witch Trials, per the Bill of Rights Institute.

What do the Salem Witch Trials have to do with Agnes, you ask? Those familiar with the Marvel comics know about a very powerful and very old witch named Agatha Harkness. According to the comics, Agatha played a pivotal role in the Salem Witch Trials and later became a magical mentor to Scarlet Witch, a.k.a. Wanda.

So is Agnes WandaVision Agatha Harkness?

At this point, we're about 99% positive that Agnes is Agatha. Apart from the aforementioned Easter egg, several folks have pointed out the similarities between the brooch Agnes wears in WandaVision and the brooch drawn on Agatha in the comics. What's more, "Agnes" could be an abbreviated version of the comic book witch's full name — Agatha (AG) Harkness (NES). Perhaps most obviously though, an episode promo showed Agnes wearing a full-on witch costume for a Halloween-themed episode (see the picture below).

Even if Agnes really is Agatha in disguise though, it's still unclear as to how Wanda will discover the truth about her neighbor and what Agnes's role will be later on in the show. Perhaps Agnes is the one controlling Wanda's current reality, since Agatha is also an extremely powerful witch. Or, maybe Agnes was placed by ~someone~ in Wanda's realm as a way to keep her powers in check. Your guess is as good as ours at this point!
