A Walmart Shopper Gargled Mouthwash, Spit It Back in the Bottle, and Returned It to the Store Shelf

Last week, a woman licked a pint of ice cream and then put it back in the freezer section. It was gross, unsanitary, and a straight up felony. But apparently, horrible people on the internet haven't learned their lesson, because a different Walmart shopper was videoed gargling mouthwash, spitting it back in the bottle, and returning it to the store shelf.

The customer in question, Bameron Nicole Smith (aka @bameronkaii) posted the clip to Twitter. "You bitches with no oral hygiene could take a hint," the caption read. Smith is captured on camera chugging from the Listerine bottle and then putting it back as if it was untouched. "Nice and minty and fresh. Thank you guys, have an amazing day," Smith adds, before fleeing the scene.

Now the internet is ready to riot, which, ya know, is fully warranted. "Who started this shit? this is disgusting," one user wrote. "Was it worth the felony?" and "pls get these ppl off the streets lol," others added. The winning comment though: "I just love how this generation of want to be criminals is so dumb that they actually document their own criminal activities. Then these dumbasses act all surprised when the police actually catch them." IT'S TRUE.

Bameron followed up the original tweet with literal receipts, writing, "I love ice cream and mouthwash :). Walmart also confirmed via surveillance footage that the mouthwash was in fact purchased, but that doesn't mean it's completely legal. A copycat ice cream licker from Louisiana coughed up proof of purchase after his own prank, but was still charged with unlawful posting of criminal activity for notoriety and publicity, according to Insider. Is viral fame really worth the jail time?

"We are committed to product safety and we take product tampering seriously," a rep for Walmart told INSIDER. "If someone tampers with a product and leaves it on the shelf, we will work with law enforcement to identify and prosecute those found responsible."

So, yeah, 10/10 would not recommend.
