Walmart reveals start of Black Friday deals for 2019

It's finally the holiday season again and bargain shoppers everywhere are gearing up for the biggest day of discounts of the year -- we're talking about Black Friday, of course!

Many retailers have been starting rolling out deals both in-store and online earlier and earlier in an effort to compete with other chains and big name brands.

Known to be a bargain retailer, Walmart is starting its Black Friday before the clock even strikes midnight on November 29.

Walmart's highly-anticipated Black Friday deals will begin rolling out in-store at 6 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 28.)

This year, Walmart is making things easier for shoppers by stationing Check Out With Me associates around the store on Black Friday in all Walmart Supercenters, giving customers the option to check out from anywhere in the store instead of waiting on long checkout lines.

Online sales will begin even earlier, at 10 p.m. EST on Wednesday, November 27.

On Friday, November 22 at midnight EST, shoppers can begin saving via Walmart's 'Pre-Black Friady' event, which will offer slashed prices for particular items in the store's lead-up to Black Friday.

"I’m confident customers will find the items – and savings – they’re looking for from Walmart on Black Friday. That’s because our team has spent the last year pulling together great items from top brands our customers know and love at amazing prices. And, we pride ourselves on having plenty of our event items available, so customers won’t leave disappointed," said Steve Bratspies, Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer, Walmart U.S.
