Experts say it's never too early to start putting up Christmas decorations, but is it ever too soon for holiday shopping? Well, Walmart certainly doesn't think so. The superstore just announced it will start its holiday savings tomorrow.
At midnight on Friday, October 25, Walmart.com is launching its Early Deals Drop with discounts on home goods, toys, electronics, and more, according to a news release. The deals will continue throughout the season, with "extra savings on some of the hottest holiday items," such as a Farberware digital oil-less fryer for $39 and a Vizio 50-inch smart TV for $398.

Walmart explains that it aims to make the busy shopping season more convenient than ever before, and is implementing new features to make the process less stressful. "Saving our customers time is also paramount at this time of year, especially with fewer days to get ready for big family meals, parties and gift giving," says Steve Bratspies, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Walmart. "We’re making sure this season is the easiest yet for our customers with nine tech-enabled ways to shop for everyone on their list—when and how they want." Those new services include the following 5 options.
Everyone has a person on their list who's impossible to shop for, but With the store's Gift Finder, you can customize your search to find the perfect present. With categories for gender, age, and price range, you can select your preferences and then choose among types of items, including technology, beauty, home decor, and dozens of other options.
Scannable Toy Catalog
Buying something special for a little one? Anyone who owns an iOS or Android device can purchase items directly from the toy catalog through the Walmart app. Beginning on November 1, customers will be able to scan and shop hundreds of products via the store's app, including 150 exclusive toys.
Free Next Day Delivery
Yes, you'll be able to purchase goods and have them delivered the next day—without any type of membership required. The perk is available for thousands of items, though there could be exclusions on "peak days."
Expanded Check Out With Me
Long lines are arguably the worst part of the holiday shopping experience, but the "check out with me" feature lets you avoid the queue altogether. All supercenters will now allow you to checkout with an associate wherever you are in the store.
Expanded DotCom Store
So, you've searched the aisles and can't find the item you had in mind. Don't panic—the DotCom Store is set up to allow you to work with an employee to place an online order in-store. You can either have the package sent to your home or your nearest Walmart.
Christmas is still two months away, but with all these offers, you could get your shopping out of the way plenty early and have more time to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year with friends and family.
