Someone messed up over at Walmart, and now they’re issuing an apology for selling an “ugly” Christmas sweater, which had an embroidered image of what looked like Santa doing lines of coke. The sweater was available for purchase at Walmart Canada’s website and it showed a very excited Santa sitting on the couch with a table in front of him. On the table were three white lines that def looked like cocaine with the phrase “Let It Snow” under the image.
According to Global News, the description of the sweater, which has now been taken down from the online site, read, “We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery, and the best snow comes straight from South America.” It continued, “That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole.”
Of course, someone saw the sweater and shared it with their social circle, and it was heavily criticized on social media.

And others saw the humor in it because it’s a pretty ugly sweater and if you’re not worried about kids wearing it to school, it is funny in a not-funny way.
this is a sweater that was actually on sale at walmart.

The Santa doing drugs one wasn’t the only questionable sweater being sold at Walmart. There was another one that featured an upside-down snowman with a carrot in a suggestive place and another where Santa was roasting his “chestnuts” over a fireplace.
Walmart is walking it back though after the backlash and have issued a statement and pulled the sweaters, which were made by clothing company FUN Wear, from the website.

Walmart Canada is apologizing after several adult-themed “ugly” Christmas sweaters were posted for sale on its website.

“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website,” Walmart said in a statement to Global News. “We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offence this may have caused.”
