"We did it, Joe!"

Need to brine a turkey? Vice president-elect Kamala Harris has you covered.

In a resurfaced video from last year, Harris can be heard explaining recipes for both a wet and dry brine for turkey, right before going on the MSNBC show, PoliticsNation. Harris was speaking with Washington Post journalist Jonathan Capehart, whose husband, Nick, sent along some questions about turkey solutions.

For a wet brine, Harris advised using "a pot of water, couple bay leaves, a little sugar, a little cup of peppercorns, you could even do a slice of orange—something like that."

At one point, she's interrupted by a sound check question in her earpiece, to which she responded, "Yes, I’m here. I’m going to talk about a recipe while you’re checking, is that okay?" Harris then turned back to Capehart, "She’ll tell me if I’m annoying her."

"So Nick, a dry brine is easier," she said, seamlessly slipping back into her explanation. "And brine for 24 [hours]—but 48 hours is best, if you have the time."

This year, Harris's recipe is going viral again partly thanks to a video TikTok user feministmama shared of a demonstration of the technique, calling it "the best turkey I've ever made."
