Virgin River fans all have the same complaint about season 4

Fans of Virgin River were happy to see season four finally drop on Netflix last week - but have since been taking to social media to share the same complaint.

Finally. After months of anticipation, Virgin River fans were treated to the latest instalment of episodes, which sought to answer the biggest question of all left by season three: Who is the father of Mel's unborn baby?

At the end of the last season, Mel learned she was pregnant, but didn't know who the father was: either her late husband Mark, or new partner Jack.

*Spoilers* by the end of season four, fans learned the true identity of the unborn baby's father is actually Jack, while it's also revealed by Charmaine that he's *not* the father of her twins. But, in classic Virgin River style, the episodes cut there, and viewers are left not knowing who might be instead.

Fans have been taking to social media to complain about the cliffhanger, calling the show out for always leaving things unsolved. "WHY DOES VIRGIN RIVER ALWAYS END ON A CLIFFHANGER," one fan wrote, while another put, "Virgin River S4, why are you doing this to me!? What a cliffhanger!"

Someone else said, "Would it even be #VirginRiver without a cliffhanger ending? #VirginRiver4" and "Virgin River always drops a bombshell on the final episode and go on hiatus for like five years. #VirginRiverNetflix"

The good news is, Virgin Riverseason 5 has definitely been confirmed, so fans will just have to wait a little longer to find out what's going on with Charmaine.
