It’s finally Oscars night, ladies and gentlemen. And Viola Davis has officially arrived. Not surprisingly, her ensemble did not disappoint.

The Best Actress nominee stunned on the 93rd annual Academy Awards red carpet in a custom-made gown from Alexander McQueen. Featuring a chiffon skirt and cutouts, the dress was one of a handful of white pieces we’ve seen so far. She topped off her look with a statement fauxhawk (yes, you read that correctly). Her husband, who is accompanying her this evening, also looked handsome in a white suit jacket, black pants and a pair of sunglasses.

Before the big night, she gave fans and followers a glimpse into her glam process by sharing an image of a lineup of L'Oréal Paris skincare and makeup on her personal Instagram account. “Getting ready for the Oscars," she captioned the photo.

As we mentioned above, Davis was nominated for Best Actress for her powerful and heartbreaking role as the title character in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. She is up against Andra Day (The United States vs. Billie Holiday), Vanessa Kirby (Pieces of a Woman), Frances McDormand (Nomadland) and Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman).

If she takes home the award, the How to Get Away with Murder star would be the first Black woman with two wins in the acting categories. (She previously won in 2017 for Fences.)

We’re officially giving Viola the award for best dressed.
