These Vintage-Inspired Jeans Are Perfect For Transitional Weather

There's no denying it—temperatures have started to drop and we've had to adjust our clothing accordingly. Now, I definitely don't abide by the myth that you can't wear white after Labor Day, but there's no ignoring the fact that swapping out thinner fabrics for thicker ones is the smart thing to do. Also, we should probably start trading our shorts for a pair of jeans, and so I'm here to make a case for the Mavi Natural LA Vintage Cropped Flare Jeans.

IMHO, they're the perfect transitional pair of jeans. They're light enough in color to still be a little summery yet their off-white shade gives them an appropriate fall twist. The high-waist silhouette makes them comfortable and flattering for all body types, the high-low hem gives them a subtle trendiness, and the cropped leg is both comfy and stylish. These pants have replaced my favorite pair of blue jeans—I wear them non-stop.

I dress them down with sneakers and cropped hoodies, and I dress them up with my favorite white booties and a matching bodysuit. I think that the cream tone of this pair is the perfect light shade for chillier months, like we're starting to experience now. These Mavi jeans are the pair I'll wear with a chunky sweatshirt while drinking hot chocolate and my (nearly) winter-white pair of pants. They're not too white or summery that they'll feel out of place in my fall wardrobe—they hit just the right chord.
