These Videos of Game of Thrones Fans Losing It Over Arya’s Big Scene Will Make You Emotional

Arya had a pretty huge moment on last night's Game of Thrones episode. If you haven't watched, stop reading this post because I'm about to reveal the spoiler to end all spoilers: Arya killed the Night King. Yup, during the heated Battle of Winterfell, Arya Stark found herself face to face with the Night King and used a dagger made of Valyrian steel to end him once and for all. It was an emotional, jaw-dropping moment that set Twitter ablaze.
And people were just as ecstatic in real life too. Several fans filmed their real-time reactions to Arya killing the Night King, and they're out of control in the best way possible. Some viewers cried. Others screamed. Some even jumped up and down. You know a moment on TV is historic when it causes people to exert physical energy.

Williams opened up about this big scene to Entertainment Weekly. "It was so unbelievably exciting,” she said. “But I immediately thought that everybody would hate it, that Arya doesn’t deserve it. The hardest thing in any series is when you build up a villain that’s so impossible to defeat and then you defeat them. It has to be intelligently done because otherwise people are like, ‘Well, [the villain] couldn’t have been that bad when some 100-pound girl comes in and stabs him.’ You gotta make it cool. And then I told my boyfriend and he was like, ‘Mmm, should be Jon though, really, shouldn’t it?’”
She continued, “It all comes down to this one very moment. It’s also unexpected and that’s what this show does. So then I was like, ‘F--k you, Jon, I get it.’”
Game of Thrones airs Sunday nights at 9:00 P.M. ET on HBO.
