You Can Video Chat With Drew and Jonathan Scott on the New Platform Bright

The chance to (video) chat with HGTV's Drew and Jonathan Scott just got a whole lot easier. The Property Brothers stars have partnered with new live video conversation platform Bright (which launched this week) for a series of reccuring reno and design sessions called Room x Room. During these virtual sessions, fans will be able to directly ask the brothers questions and make requests.

Their first session, dubbed Room x Room: Color Inside and Out, is scheduled for June 30, 2021 at 4 pm PT. In this event, the twin entrepreneurs will discuss how to borrow inspiration from around you to bring bold and inspiring colors into every room. Those with tickets (up to 100 people can join), will be able to write to the brothers during the event using a chat feature. In some cases, participants may be brought on screen to speak directly to the brothers.

Following Room x Room: Color Inside and Out, the home reno pros will continue to host other sessions pertaining to the home experience at later dates. Topics slated include: landscape architecture, color blocking, lighting, reno budgeting and more, according to a representative for the Scotts. In some events, they may tap other home experts to lead the sessions. They may also have a few giveaways up their sleeves.

Love knowing what your favorite HGTV stars are up to? Same. Let’s keep up with them together.

Bright Sessions are live video conversations that let you interact directly with the people that inspire you. Founded by entertainment visionaries Guy Oseary and Michael Powers, the platform offers users face-to-face access to learn from and interact with a stacked list of today’s top celebrities, experts, and digital creators. In addition to Drew and Jonathan Scott, other famous figures like Madonna, Naomi Campbell, Ashton Kutcher, Shawn Mendes, Laura Dern, Rachel Zoe, Jason Bolden, and more have signed up to lead their own live sessions.

"The idea for Bright was born from years of working to empower artists in connecting directly to the audience that supports them," Oseary said in a press release. "Bright creates a direct, inspiring educational connection between talent and their audience through live video," he continued. Meanwhile, Powers noted that 20% of Youtube views were of videos that involved learning content from individual creators. "There is an incredible appetite to learn from other people and I wanted to develop a platform that provided more interaction and intimacy," he said.
