Every Nov. 11, veterans are honored across the U.S. for their service with free meals, discounted hotel rooms, and free entry to attractions. Here are this year’s best deals for veterans of the American Armed Forces.

Keep in mind that all of these businesses require proof of military service, which can include a VA Universal Access Card, Military ID, discharge papers, or Veterans Service Organization Card. Call ahead to ask if your nearest location is participating in these Veterans Day offers, since not all franchises of national chains may participate.

Applebee’s

On Nov. 11, the restaurant chain is offering free meals to veterans and active duty military.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

Current and former military can enjoy a free entree (up to $14.95) and a free Dr. Pepper beverage at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse this Veterans Day.

California Pizza Kitchen

Veterans and active military can get a free meal from a limited menu, which includes pizza, entrée salads, or pasta.

CentraArchy Restaurants

All CentraArchy restaurant locations (including California Dreaming) are offering veterans and active duty military free entrees on Monday, Nov. 11.

Chili’s

Veterans and active military can get a free meal from a limited menu that includes fan favorites like Chicken Crispers and more on November 11.

Denny’s

On Nov. 11, active and inactive military personnel can enjoy a complimentary “Build Your Own Grand Slam” from 5 a.m. to noon.

Fogo de Chao

The Brazilian steakhouse chain is offering 50 percent off meals to veterans and active military on Nov. 11. Up to three additional guests can receive 10 percent off their meals.

Great Clips

Veterans and current military members can get a free haircut or a card to redeem a free haircut on a later day on Nov. 11.

Goodyear Auto Service

This Veterans Day weekend, Goodyear Auto Service and Just Tires are offering active and retired members of the U.S. military free car care checks and free tire installation.

Hawk’s Cay Resort

Between Aug. 1 and Dec. 25, this resort in the Florida Keys is offering a special rate of $129 for weeknights to former and current military.

Killington

The Vermont ski resort is offering free lift tickets for veterans and active duty military on Nov. 11, plus discounts on lift tickets throughout the season.

Knotts Berry Farm

The amusement park’s Military Days grants active duty military and veterans free admission for themselves and one guest (plus six additional tickets for a discounted price) from Nov. 3-21 and again from Dec.2-19.

LEGOLAND Florida
