Prince William is traveling through Namibia this week on a private working trip centered around wildlife conservation, and by the sound of it, his wife Duchess Kate is "immensely jealous" of his visit.

"I am delighted to be visiting Namibia for the first time. I am only sorry my wife Catherine is not able to join me," Prince William said in a speech at a British High Commissioner’s reception in Windhoek today. "She is immensely jealous, particularly as I am looking forward to a few good, uninterrupted nights of sleep this week away from my wonderful children," he continued.

Did we mention William is also prince of Dad jokes?

Duchess Kate is currently nearing the end of her maternity leave, and home with her three royal babies: Prince George, who recently turned 5, Princess Charlotte, who is 3, and little Prince Louis, who is just 5 months old. Hopefully, grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton and Nanny Maria are helping her out while William is away.

William's trip to Namibia this week marks the first official royal visit to the country since the Queen visited in 1991, and while he is officially traveling as the patron of Tusk and United for Wildlife, two conservation groups, the Duke is also taking on a number of engagements during his trip at the request of Her Majesty's Government.

For instance, yesterday, he met with the country's Vice President Nangolo Mbumba about anti-poaching efforts, and also held meetings with the country's Deputy Minister of Environment and Tourism, Bernadette Jagger, and the Minister for Environment and Tourism, Pohamba Shifeta.

On Thursday, the Duke of Cambridge will meet with the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E President Magufuli in Dar es Salaam, where they will discuss the issue of illegal wildlife trade. And later in the week, William will visit 1st Battalion the Irish Guards Battlegroup who are training in Kenya, before returning to the U.K. and his three adoring children.
