Vanessa Lachey Shared Major News About the Future of 'NCIS: Hawai'i' and Fans Have a Lot to Say

NCIS fans, we have good news for you: More NCIS: Hawai'i is on the way. Star Vanessa Lachey, who is not short on emotions when it comes to her new show, took to Instagram to share the exciting news with her fans, and she poured on the love for everyone involved in making the show.

Vanessa appears in the video wearing a botanical print dress and said, "It is a very good morning, the sun is shining, and we have some very good news that NCIS: Hawai'i has been picked up for a full season...We did the pilot and had 13 episodes, and now we get to do a full season, which could be anywhere from 20-24. I think we'll get 22." She continues to thank all her cast mates and the crew members who make the show possible each week and took the time to express her gratitude for the show's already loyal fans.

Vanessa calls this role her dream job. She captions the heartfelt video: "Mahalo Nui Loa❤️ WE DID IT! A full Season pick up for @ncishawaiicbs! I wish I could hug every single person who worked their ass off to make this happen! We have an incredible team and a local crew who grounds us EVERYDAY! And the Best Studio & Network @cbstv @cbstvstudios who believes in what we are doing! I Love You ALL!"

Fans were so excited to hear this news. One viewer wrote, "yay!!!!! my favorite new show!!!" and another said, "Congratulations! You truly deserve this! I'm so in love with NCIS: Hawai'i 🙌." Another fan chimed in with, "💣🔥 Congratulations!! No Surprise there!! Keep on killin it!! You all are an AMAZING add to the NCIS Family ❤️."

Vanessa has some celebrity fans too! Actor Leslie Jordan contributed, "CONGRATS!!!! We love pick ups!!!" and actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher, star of Reba and Sweet Magnolias, added: "🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥."
