Vanessa Lachey Posts Heartfelt Tribute to 'NCIS Hawai'i' Cast

Season 2 will feature a two-part finale event.

Vanessa Lachey celebrated a milestone for NCIS: Hawai’i.

In a heartfelt and joyous Instagram post, the actress revealed that the cast has officially finished filming the second season.

“THAT’S A WRAP! Season 2 @ncishawaiicbs! This cast and crew have become my family!” she kicked off the caption.

She then shouted out her cast mates—many of whom are featured in the accompanying photo—along with her “TV Kids” and “guest stars, our show runners, producers, writers and over 300 of the BEST DAMN CREW in the world (who always have smiles on their faces).”

She concluded: “Mahalo Nui Loa”! Thank You so much for this dream journey! You bring me so much Joy! See you in Season 3!!! 💃🏽💪🏽🌴 CheeeeeeHoooooooo!!!”

In the shot, Noah Mills, Yasal Bustami, Alex Tarrant, Tori Anderson, and Jason Antoon could be seen holding up two fingers to commemorate the second season.

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement in the comments, thanking the cast for their hard work. “Awesome series with a fantastic cast!! Thank you all” one fan wrote, as another looked forward to the future with, “You all have done a superb job and I’m ready for season three. 😎😎.”

Back in February, CBS announced that it has renewed NCIS for its 21st season and Hawai'i for its third season.

NCIS: Hawai'i Season 2 will air its two-part finale events on May 15 and May 22.

Lachey, who plays Jane Tennant, the first woman in the NCIS franchise to head a team, previously said she isn’t going anywhere any time soon, as she calls this her “dream role.”

“It’s something that I always wanted to do, and now that I get to do it, I’m willing to get the bruises and the scrapes and all of that to play her,” Lachey told Parade in January. “It’s so fun. Whenever I do it, I’m like, ‘This is my job, I can’t believe it!’ I still can’t believe it; I get tickled all the time.”

NCIS: Los Angeles, however, is coming to an end. Back in January, CBS announced that the long-running drama would conclude its run with the 14th season. The series will wrap up storylines with a two-part series finale, airing on May 14 and May 21.
