When it comes to celebrities not looking their age, there are a select few (read: the majority) in Hollywood who look just as they did circa 10 years ago. We have Jennifer Lopez, who, quite frankly, looks half her age; Jennifer Aniston, who hasn’t aged a day since the beginning of Friends; and Vanessa Hudgens, who still looks, well, 12.

*Disclaimer!!* though: Naturally, because of that whole millionaire/billionaire thing (casual, I know), celebs do have access to some of the best skincare facilities and products around, which may or may not contribute to their youthful looks. Either that or they all just seem to have baby faces and/or have aged with grace. The underground secrets of the elite are beyond me, TBH.

Anyway, regardless of any supposed secrets, we really do have appreciation and admiration for such beauty. And today, Vanessa takes to our seemingly youthful spotlight with a brand-new Instagram post that has her looking exactly as she did when filming the infamous High School Musical. That’s age 18, to be precise.

With just a few clicks of a button (Google is my BFF), I know that the actor is currently 33. Now, I don’t know whether it’s because Vanessa is standing in front of the beloved HSM East High where they filmed some key scenes, the classic Y2K mauve lip she’s sporting, the flushed rosy cheeks, or even her natural curly hair texture (there are a lot of contributing factors), but she really does look just as she did in 2006.

Adding to the nostalgia, Vanessa quoted a line from the movie, writing in the caption, “Do you remember in kindergarten how you’d meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you’re playing like you’re best friends because you didn’t have to be anything but yourself?” Gahhh.

Oh, and if the tears aren’t flowing yet, you need to take a look at the comments section. Bart Johnson, who played Coach Bolton in the series, wrote, “I saw this and had a PTSD like I couldn’t find my team captains LET’S GO WILDCATS!! 🏀🐾”

BRB, I’m off to play the HSM soundtrack on repeat.
