Netflix viewers have been loving Uncoupled, Darren Star's new show starring Neil Patrick Harris. But one thing has left fans taking to social media to complain about the show: why does it have to end on a cliffhanger?!

Written by the person behind Sex And The City and Emily In Paris, Uncoupled tells the story of 40-year-old Michael (played by Patrick Harris), who is shocked to discover himself single and dating again, after his long term partner moves out of their shared apartment.

Fans have been loving the sweet and uplifting show, and even making calls for a season two. But they do have one complaint about the way season one ends, after the ending left us with some major question marks.

*Spoilers* The final scene sees Michael and ex-partner Colin (played by Tuc Watkins) standing in their apartment, with Colin admitting he might have made a big mistake by leaving. The screen then fades to black.

"Uncoupled had NO RIGHT ending the season like that," one fan said, while another put, "Please let there be a Season 2 of #Uncoupled . I’ve got so many questions from that ending!!! @netflix"

Someone else put, "THAT CLIFFHANGER ENDING OHHHHH my god #Uncoupled" and "I just saw the ending to Uncoupled. Absolutely infuriated me. Great job."

Speaking about the appeal of the show, Patrick Harris told THR, “A breakup is very universal, and watching someone go through it is kind of cathartic in its own way because it’s either very relatable — you felt the same way and you have been through it — or it’s super informative about pitfalls to avoid."

Season two, please!
