The Ultimatum season 2 release date confirmed with new queer cast
The Ultimatum may have already come to an end (*cries*), but it's good news for Netflix fans all over, as the streaming platform has already confirmed season two!
Yep, it's officially happening, and this time there are a few changes. To recap, The Ultimatum sees a group of couples coming together in a unique dating experiment. One member from each couple has offered the other an ultimatum: get married or breakup. The pairs are then put to the test, acting 'single' and dating their fellow contestants to find out if they really want to be together forever.
Season one saw its fair share of *drama*, and we're expecting much of the same from the show's second instalment.

When is The Ultimatum season 2 expected to be released?
After months of waiting Netflix has finally confirmed the second season of The Ultimatum, now named The Ultimatum: Queer Love, will be coming to the platform on 24th May. That's so soon!
As part of the announcement Netflix also shared the first trailer for the new season and it looks full of drama.

When was The Ultimatum season 2 confirmed?
Netflix has confirmed that The Ultimatum is officially getting a second season. The news was first announced during a video outlining Netflix's upcoming reality shows - with faces from Love Is Blind and Too Hot To Handle singing through the announcements as part of their 'boyband' N-2-LUV.
LIB's Jarrette Jones dropped the news on The Ultimatum S2, singing in the video, "It's called The Ultimatum and it's dropping two seasons. One of which is queer with mostly women." You'll notice that this means The Ultimatum was already set for two seasons before series one had even aired. Here's hoping there are even more in the pipeline!
What will happen in The Ultimatum season 2?
As the series release date reveals, The Ultimatum: Queer Love season two will feature an all-queer lineup of women and non-binary people.
The series will feature five couples who are all struggling with the ultimatum to get engaged that their partner has set. In order to find out whether they should commit or move on from their partner, the whole cast will date each other to discover the strength of their connections.
Season two will feature 10 episodes, that are released in weekly batches, with the first four episodes dropping on 24th May.
