Tyler, the Creator's Supermodel Best Friend Makes a Cameo Appearance in His New Video
Tyler, the Creator has had a busy day. Earlier this morning, he announced a new collection of Golf Wang IGOR Halloween costumes (along with the Warholian bowl cut platinum blonde wig, there’s powder blue, pink, and neon yellow iterations of the suit that he’s worn consistently on tour and in his “Earfquake” music video). And now he has just released a short clip from an upcoming video for his song “I Think,” which features some familiar faces.
The two-minute clip (“a fraction of the video,” he explains in the YouTube caption) depicts Tyler at a raucous party wearing his signature yellow wig and colorful suit in multiple shades of sherbet. He pushes through the crowd and makes his way to a photo booth, where — among all the other partygoers getting their portraits taken — is Kendall Jenner, striking a pose in a sleek Kelly green suit.
Tyler and Jenner are friends IRL (and they even graced the pages of Vogue together). But this cameo further solidifies their relationship while proving that Tyler’s got the clout to pull some of the world’s top models into his distinct aesthetic universe. Even just a small portion of his latest video has more star power than most.
