Rachel Bilson confirmed that she used to date Bill Hader back in the day.

For context, the two first sparked dating rumors when they were seen holding hands at a Starbucks in December 2019. The two then attended the Golden Globes together the following month, but never actually confirmed whether they were in a relationship. Then, in July 2020, reports emerged that the couple had split.

Well, in a conversation with Aubrey Plaza on Rachel's podcast, Broad Ideas, Rachel explicitly discussed the relationship for the first time. After Aubrey mentioned Bill's time on SNL, Rachel replied, "You know Bill and I dated, right?"

"I swear to God. Two years ago," Rachel continued. "I went with him to the fucking Golden Globes."

Aubrey then pointed out that Bill and Rachel dated in the 2013 movie The To Do List, to which Rachel added, "And we wound up dating."

But that's not all! In the previous episode of her pod, without naming names, Rachel further said that she "went through a really hard breakup — and it was during the pandemic."

"I could not leave my house, you know what I mean? I had nothing else to do but sit in it, and deal with it and feel it," she said. "It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done⁠, harder than childbirth."

As for Bill's current love life, he's been linked with Anna Kendrick since early 2021 — and has said that he doesn't want to talk about his love life out of respect for the privacy of his kids. For her part, Rachel has reportedly been dating artist Zac La Roc for a number of months.
